These Terms & Conditions apply to all members, guests, trial users, and visitors of Invictus MMA UK (“Invictus”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By joining, attending classes, or using our facilities, you agree to be bound by the terms below.
1. Membership & Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals aged 5 years and above (youth members require parent/guardian consent).

All memberships are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared.

Invictus reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership at its discretion for breach of these Terms & Conditions.
2. Uniform & Equipment

Official Invictus MMA uniform/equipment must be purchased and worn during classes where required.

Members are responsible for maintaining clean and safe equipment.
-
Training without the required uniform or with unsafe equipment may result in refusal to train.
3. Gym Rules & Conduct
To maintain a safe, disciplined, and respectful environment, all members must:

Respect all coaches, staff, and fellow members at all times.

Follow all instructions given by coaches immediately.
-
No shoes on training mats (mat-only footwear where applicable).
-
Maintain proper hygiene (clean clothing, trimmed nails, no open wounds).
-
Treat the gym, equipment, and facilities with care.
Failure to follow gym rules may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
4. Prohibited Behaviour
The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Bullying, intimidation, harassment, or discrimination of any kind

Foul, abusive, or aggressive language

Unsafe training practices or deliberate injury to others

Ignoring or refusing to follow the coach's instructions

Theft, vandalism, or misuse of gym property
-
Training while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Invictus operates a zero-tolerance policy. Serious breaches may lead to immediate removal from the premises and termination of membership.
5. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

MMA, boxing, and combat sports involve inherent risks, including but not limited to bruising, sprains, fractures, concussion, or serious injury.

By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with training and competition.

Members confirm they are medically fit to train and will inform staff of any health conditions or injuries.
6. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

Invictus MMA UK, its owners, coaches, staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during training, except where caused by negligence.

Members release Invictus from all claims arising from participation in combat sports activities.
-
Personal belongings are brought onto the premises at the member’s own risk.
7. Payments & Fees

All membership fees must be paid on time via the agreed payment method.
-
Memberships are sold on fixed-term contracts (unless otherwise stated).
-
No cancellations. No freezing. No refunds.
-
Members must complete the full contract term.
If a member chooses to stop attending before the contract ends, the full remaining balance becomes immediately payable.
8. Failed Payments

Any failed or missed payment will incur a £5.99 failed payment fee.
-
Continued failed payments may result in suspension of access and referral to a debt recovery service.
9. Class Access & Scheduling
-
Class timetables, coaches, and sessions may change without notice.
-
Entry may be refused if classes are full or if a member arrives late.
-
Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.
10. Termination by Invictus
Invictus reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund if a member:

Breaches these Terms & Conditions

Engages in prohibited behaviour
-
Endangers others or damages the gym’s reputation
11. Photography & Media
-
Invictus may capture photos or videos during training for marketing and promotional purposes.
-
By attending, you grant permission for your image to be used unless you notify us in writing.
12. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
-
Information is used solely for membership management, communication, and gym operations.
13. Changes to Terms
-
Invictus reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
-
Updated terms will be published on our website and take immediate effect.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
