Welcome to Invictus Sports Centre (incorporating Invictus MMA UK, Invictus Snooker & Pool Club, and all associated indoor facilities, hereinafter referred to as "Invictus", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your membership, facility access, and overall participation at our multi-floor athletic and premium leisure facility.

By registering for a membership, booking a table, entering a contract, attending classes, or utilizing our premises as a guest or visitor, you explicitly agree to be legally bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Membership & Facility Eligibility

The Snooker & Pool Lounge: Access to the premium third-floor snooker lounge is strictly reserved for individuals aged 16 and over, subject to our established club dress code and professional conduct guidelines. Table use is strictly on a timed booking-slot basis; Invictus provides table hire only and does not offer formal coaching, structured training, or lessons for cue sports.

2. Mandatory Uniform, Dress Code & Equipment

Snooker Lounge Etiquette: Patrons utilizing the luxury table facilities must adhere to a smart-casual dress code. Soiled workwear, gym clothes, or inappropriate footwear are strictly prohibited in the lounge areas. Players may bring their own cues or utilize club-provided cues, but any damage to the professional cloths or equipment during a booking slot will be billed directly to the booking holder.
 

3. Club Rules & Conduct
To ensure a safe, disciplined, family-friendly, and premium environment across all three floors, all members and visitors must adhere to the following codes of conduct:

Mutual Respect: Absolute respect must be shown to all coaches, referees, management, facility staff, parents, and fellow members at all times.

Coach Instructions: Immediate, unquestioned compliance is required for all safety and technical instructions issued by an active floor coach or instructor.

Mat Hygiene: Under no circumstances are outdoor shoes, sliders, or street footwear permitted on the training mats. Mat-only training footwear or bare feet are required depending on the discipline.

Personal Hygiene: Members must maintain an exemplary standard of personal hygiene, including clean clothing/gis, short-trimmed nails, and zero exposed open wounds or untreated skin conditions.

Care of Property: All gym equipment, heavy bags, snooker cues, luxury table cloths, and building facilities must be treated with ultimate care. Members will be held financially liable for willful or reckless damage to property.

Sanctions: Failure to comply with the club rules will result in immediate suspension, facility ejection, or membership termination without a refund.

4. Zero-Tolerance Prohibited Behaviour
Invictus operates a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding toxic or unsafe behaviors. The following actions will result in an immediate permanent ban and potential referral to local authorities:

Bullying, intimidation, cyberbullying, physical harassment, or discrimination of any kind based on race, gender, age, religion, or orientation.

Foul, abusive, aggressive, or profane language anywhere on the premises.

Unsafe training practices, ego-driven sparring, or malicious intent to injure a training partner.

Direct insubordination or refusing to follow an instructor's safety commands.

Theft, vandalism, or unauthorized misuse of gym property, electronic systems, or lounge equipment.

Entering the premises, training, or playing while under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or illegal performance-enhancing/recreational drugs.

5. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
Inherent Combat Risks: Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Boxing, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing are high-impact, full-contact combat sports. By participating, you explicitly acknowledge and voluntarily assume all inherent risks of training, sparring, and competition, including but not limited to bruising, sprains, fractures, concussions, or severe injury.

Medical Fitness Warranty: Members warrant and confirm they are in excellent physical condition and medically fit to undergo intense physical exercise.

Duty to Disclose: You hold an ongoing duty to immediately disclose any pre-existing health conditions, cardiac anomalies, infectious diseases, or recent injuries to our administrative and coaching staff before stepping onto the mats.
 

6. Comprehensive Liability Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of England and Wales:

Exclusion of Liability: Invictus MMA UK, Invictus Sports Centre, its owners, directors, coaches, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any personal injury, medical expense, economic loss, or fatal injury sustained on the premises or during club-sanctioned events, except where directly caused by the gross negligence of the company.

Release of Claims: Members voluntarily release and forever discharge Invictus from any actions, suits, or claims arising from participation in combat sports, recreational indoor sports, or fitness classes.

Personal Property: All personal belongings, electronics, gym bags, and vehicles parked outside are brought onto the property entirely at the owner's risk. Invictus provides no lockbox security warranties and accepts zero liability for lost or stolen items.

7. Commercial Payments, Fixed-Term Contracts & Fees
On-Time Settlement: All recurring monthly or annual membership dues must be settled on time via our authorized Direct Debit or recurring card payment merchant systems.

Fixed-Term Binding Contracts: Memberships are structured as legally binding, fixed-term commercial contracts.

Strict Financial Policy: No cancellations. No account freezing. No refunds.

Early Resignation Penalty: Members are legally bound to fulfill the complete financial term of their chosen contract. If a member chooses to stop attending classes or utilizing the facilities prior to the contract's maturity date, the remaining contract balance becomes immediately due and payable in full.

8. Failed Payments & Debt Recovery
Administrative Surcharge: Any failed transaction, bounced Direct Debit, or missed monthly payment will automatically incur an administrative failed payment fee of £5.99 per occurrence.

Suspension of Access: Continued failure to clear outstanding balances within seven (7) days will result in the immediate digital suspension of facility access across all floors.

Debt Collection Referral: Delinquent accounts that remain unpaid will be formally referred to an external debt recovery agency, which may impact your credit score and incur additional legal and collection costs.
 

9. Table Bookings, Cancellations & Capacity

Capacity Limits: For safety and structural preservation, maximum player capacities per table are strictly enforced. Entry to the lounge area may be denied if a booking slot has expired or if table limits are exceeded.

Missed or Cancelled Slots: All reserved snooker and pool table booking slots are entirely non-refundable, non-creditable, and non-transferable. If you miss your allocated time slot, the booking fee is forfeited.
 

10. Unilateral Termination by Management
Invictus reserves the unilateral right to instantly terminate any membership agreement or bar any visitor without a refund or prior warning notice if the individual:

Breaches any portion of these binding Terms & Conditions.

Engages in any categorized prohibited behavior.

Compromises the safety of other members, demonstrates toxic behavior to youth academy students, or acts in a manner that damages the commercial reputation of Invictus.
 

11. Photography, Videography & Media Consent
Content Generation: Invictus regularly captures professional photography, promotional videos, and live-stream audio during training sessions, open mats, and club tournaments for marketing, website optimization, and social media platforms.

Media Release: By entering the facility, you grant Invictus an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to utilize your image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials.

Opt-Out Procedure: If you wish to opt-out of media capture for yourself or your minor child, you must formally submit a written request via email to management and obtain written confirmation.
 

12. Data Protection & UK GDPR Compliance
Data Handling: All personal data, contact information, and billing records collected by Invictus are stored and processed in strict compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Internal Use Only: Your data will only be utilized for internal membership administration, security verification, automated booking communications, and direct facility updates. We will never sell your information to third-party brokers.
 

13. Revisions to Terms
Invictus reserves the right to amend, update, or rewrite these Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect changing laws, facility expansions, or operational adjustments. The latest legally binding version will always be published on our official website and takes immediate effect upon upload.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions, membership contracts, and liability waivers are governed exclusively by and must be interpreted in full accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of this agreement shall fall solely under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
